- 4 cups Chicken Breast seasoned, cooked, and diced
- 1 cup Butter
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 Green Bell Pepper diced
- 8 oz Mushrooms sliced
- 4 oz Pimientos
- 2.5 cups Chicken Broth
- 3 cups Milk
- Salt and Pepper to taste
In a large pan, melt the butter
Add the diced green peppers and mushrooms. Cook until just softened
Stir in the flour. Cook until all the white is gone
Add the chicken broth and then the milk, stirring constantly to thicken
Add in the seasoned, cooked chicken and the pimientos
Taste for salt and peppr. The broth has plenty of salt and the chicken should have been seasoned already. Taste your food!!
Serve over rice, or egg noodles. I'm using kaiser rolls. Just cut a hole in them. Enjoy.
