Today I’m going to show you how easy it is to make Chicken Orzo Soup. If you like Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup, just add some lemon juice to the final result. First peel and chop the veggies. Them saute in olive oil until transparent. next add chicken broth and water to the soup pot.
Next add some oregamo, turmeric, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to the pot. Bring to a boil, then add 2 chicken breasts.
When the chicken is partially cooked, remove it from the pot then add the orzo pasta. While the pasta cooks, for about 8 minutes, Shred the chicken, then return it to the pot
Cook for 5 more minutes until the orzo and chicken are completely cooked. Transfer the soup to a soup serving bowl then stir in the parsley and scallions. Add lemon juice at this point if you wish.

Peel, trim and chop 2 carrots, 2 celery stalks, and 1 large onion then set aside.
Heat olive oil in a dutch oven or soup pot, then add the carrots, celery, onion, and the garlic.
Pour the chicken broth and water into the pot, then stir in the turmeric, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil then add the chicken breasts.
Cook for 15 minutes, then remove the chicken from the pot and add the orzo pasta. The pasta will be done in 7-8 minutes.
Meanwhile shred the chicken, then return it to the soup pot. Simmer for 5 more minutes, then transfer the soup to a soup service bowl.
Stir in the chopped parsley and scallions. You can also add lemon juice to this soup at this point if you like. Serve and enjoy.
