How To Make Chicken and Rice Casserole

To make Chicken and Rice casserole you will sboneless, skinless chicken thighs, rice, shredded cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, milk, water, onion soup mix, and seasonings 

First you want to season 8-10 boneless skinless chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then set them aside. Next add the uncooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk, water, and onion soup mix to a bowl. Stir to combine all ingredients.

Next step is to pour the rice mixture into a greased, 9×13 baking pan, then sprinkle some cheddar cheese on top. Nestle the seasoned chicken into the rice, then cover with aluminum foil.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the rice and chicken are fully cooked.

When the rice and chicken are c ompletely cooked, remove the foil, and add some more shredded cheddar cheese. Stir the rice and add some dried parsley flakes over top to garnish. Delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • 10 Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
  • 1 ½ cups Long Grain Rice
  • 2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup 10.5 oz each
  • 1 packet Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper then set aside.
  • In a seperate bowl, add the rice, cream of chicken soup, milk, water, and onion soup mix. Stir to combine.
  • Pour the rice mixture into a greased 9x13 baking pan. Distribute the rice mixture evenly, then sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Nestle the seasoned chicken thighs into the rice, then cover tightly with foil.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hr and a half
  • Once the casserole is ready, remove from the over, remove the foil, and add the rest of the shredded cheese over top. Stir the rice and add some dried parsley on top for garnish.
