How To Make Pecan Pie Upside Down Cake

Chop the pecans, then add them to a pan with butter, light corn syrup, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cook just until the butter has melted, then remove from the heat.

Next grease a bundt pan and pour in the pecan mixture. Next prepare the cake batter according to the directions on the box.

Pour the cake batter over the pecan mixture in the bundt pan then bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

  • 1 cup Pecans chopped
  • ½ cup Butter
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar packed
  • ¼ tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ cup Light Corn Syrup

Cake

  • 3 Eggs
  • ¾ cup Water
  • 7 tbsp Butter melted
  • 1 Box Butter Cake Mix

Instructions
 

  • Chop 1 cup of pecans and set aside
  • To a hot pan, add the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, corn syrup, then the chopped pecans
  • Stir the pecan mixture until the butter melts, then remove the pan from the heat
  • Generously grease a bundt pan, then pour the pecan mixture into the pan
  • prepare the cake batter according to the box directions, then pour the cake batter over the pecan mixture in the bundt pan
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes
